Wellness Programme

Sleeping less than 7 hours a night has dramatic negative effects on physical and emotional well being as well as directly resulting in increased absenteeism. Lack of sleep is linked to anxiety, depression, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and a decrease in immune function, resulting in an average loss of 6 working days per year.

" I no longer fear night time. I no longer put off going to bed. I now realise how important sleep is. I don't always sleep but now at least I have strategies to help encourage me to get to sleep and also to deal with being awake in bed. I went away this week for 2 nights and didn't spend days worrying about sleeping somewhere strange. I feel more in control of what happens at night. "
